↘︎ Hi. I’m Head of Design Europe & Managing Partner at Anomaly. I help create desire, devotion and growth for global brands through design. I love working with brands that have a big problem to solve and ambitious goals—whether that’s legacy brands that need to find their relevance again, proven scale-ups that need to find a place in culture, or innovation by developing ideas that culture is calling for. Solving big business problems with others and creating change through design is my 👜.
I believe brand design is about finding and highlighting the very best in a business — truths from their past, present and vision for the future. Branding has the power to articulate the ethos of a business and visualise its ideals through language, image and most importantly action. It gives brands the inclination to do better and be better by giving them an understanding of themselves and what they strive to be. Done well, it leads to customer devotion, animates culture and promotes ideas. It can up end industries. It can change human behaviour. Done well, it can be transformative.
Let’s talk.
↘︎ If you’ve made it this far down the page, you must really want to know more! So a little about me…I started in the field of graphic design at the early age of six as Founder and CCO of “T-shirt World," a local puffy-paint T-shirt business, ran out of my garage. Years later, I received my Masters of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from RISD which solidified my love of branding, graphic design and using creativity to move culture and brands forward.
During my twenty year career, my exuberant style, multi-disciplinary approach, strategic mindset and a love for visual story-telling has helped brands of all sizes find and express their meaning. From democratising coffee for Starbucks, to reviving 100-year old workwear for Dickies, to putting purpose at the heart of Unilever, as well as product and brand launches for innovation projects.
Having lived in the US, EU and currently the UK, my experience is truly global. It allows me the pleasure to work with global companies to strategically and visually articulate their brand.
Currently, I lead the UK and EU design and innovation practices at Anomaly as European Head of Design, creating distinctive brand design systems for global and national clients, alongside branding and creative development for new product innovations.
My work has been featured in Communication Arts, Print Magazine, Under Consideration, Behance, Brand New, the FWA, Ad Week, Creativity Online, Computer Arts and AdAge and recognised by The One Show, D&AD, Type Director’s Club, Webby Awards, Awwwards, Art Directors Club, and Graphis. Recently, I was a judge for D&AD in the Art Direction category and honoured to be included in the Business Journals' 40 Under 40 for creative leadership in business.
